Mark closed the door and made his way quickly around the front of the car to the driver’s side. He held out a hand to stop a cab as he pulled the door open and ducked inside. The cab sped past and Mark glanced from out of the windshield to Waverly. “Guess that would be one of the cabbies you dislike then, huh?” He put the key in the ignition and the Ford purred to life.
Mark pulled out into traffic and when it was safe to glance away for a minute he looked at Waverly. “It’s down by your left foot. The console opens up and the bubble’s in there.” He recalled she had asked about it in a previous conversation, and he figured there was no time like the present to allow her to examine it. Mark returned back to navigating the lanes of traffic all being herded towards the express way.
