"Okay, so go get eaten." Mark chuckled raising his right hand off the steering wheel in surrender. "I was only trying to help." He placed his hand back down and glanced at her. "I'm perfectly capable of leaving a message with the rest of your friends, but given what is facing you tonight, I'm thinking I should just keep mum until tomorrow."
Mark shook his head. "Homicide detectives deal in deception every day. You learn how to lie, and well to get anywhere in a case. Job hazard, but I'm telling you the truth right now- take the bath and steer clear of that feeding frenzy tonight."
