"Mmm, maybe." She still had her eyes closed and was doing a fair job of relaxing right then and there. The thought that he had just admitted to being a professional liar did cross her mind, but she chose to ignore it. Anyone that was encouraging her to indulge in hedonistic pleasure and also volunteering to not bother her while she did it deserved to be cut some slack.
