Sweeter & Sweeter makes for the Sweetest

To say it had been a while since Mark had been on a date would be an understatement. About two years worth of an understatement- but tonight, with Waverly he knew he had not only been on a wonderful date but one of the best of his romantic career. She was extremely intelligent, independent and had a razor sharp whit that had him questioning if she was serious, or when she was kidding. If nothing else Waverly had him wrapped around her beautiful fingers, and Mark would be lying if he didn't want to know what it felt like to have her exceptionally gorgeous legs wrapped around him in turn.

If he had been twenty-four he would have made a relentless play all evening to lift the hem of her dress and let his fingers stroke up her thighs and between. However with ten years beyond that under his belt and a world of experience Mark knew what mattered. Waverly mattered. Her spirit, her intellect, her essence. She was far more than incredible legs and a promise of sex, she was intriguing, frustrating and utterly entertaining to be around. Mark wanted more than just an invitation into her room, but he had to be fair and allow her to offer what she was willing to give.

And then she was asking; sort of. Did he? Did he have the time? Did he want to walk her to the elevator? Did he want to escort her to her room and then leave? Did he need to be somewhere else? Did he want to race her up the stairs to her room because the elevator might prove to be too slow because she needed him now? The question could mean anything but Mark hoped it was leading him to more time spent in her company. Dressed, or naked, he was ready to take that step.

His smile broadened and he reached his hand out to gently clasp it over her's and the key. "I'd love nothing better."
